Tagliatelle is long and flat with a relatively rough texture, as compared with other types of pasta, due to which it goes best with thicker sauces. Made with semolina Garofalo Tagliatelle Nido pasta is made into thin broad pasta ribbons, then shaped into nests.
Tagliatelle is traditionally served with a meat or Bolognese sauce, but also works extremely well with a cheese or cream sauce.
