Brie will keep its mild, characteristic flavour and soft texture over time due to the fact that the maturing process is stopped when the cheese is at its best.It is aptly nicknamed "The Queen of Cheeses". The Danish Brie has been produced since the 1920s and has ever since been a classic. For best taste and consistency, leave the cheese at room temperature 1- 2 hours before serving.
Brie can be served on cheeseboards, in sandwiches and salads. it can also be baked and fried as it can keep its shape very well. Try it with crispy vegetables and it also can go well with light, semi-dry white wine such as Loire as well as light red wine like Beaujolais are recommended.
